The adapter VAS 5257 is used in conjunction with Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 and multi-meters V.A.G 1715 and V.A.G 1526/1526A for simple, quick and accurate recording of various electrical/electronic signals from components such as:
- Engine speed sender-G28
- Hall sender-G40
- etc.
The connectors are decoded and can thus be used diversely as 3 pin connectors. The use of the adapter is described in the relevant Workshop Manual/Technical Bulletin.
